Two more new pieces to start off the new year.

The title "Life is just a bowl of cherries" refers to the song sung by Ethel Merman back in the 1930s.

The second painting is a small piece measuring 6 x 6 inches. It is one of my new works from the pastel on canvas collection. It is on a gallery wrapped canvas with the sides painted dark green and the entire painting is sealed with a gloss acrylic so it can be viewed without a frame.

Welcome to Colleen Brown Fine art. I am a creativist - an individual with an inate need to create. From the moment I could hold a pencil I began to draw. Here you will find examples of my pastel, oil and acrylic paintings and drawings but also information on my art workshops and other creative ventures.
Many of the paintings you see here are sold but they will provide the viewer with an understanding of the type of artwork I produce. I don't do a lot of commission work but if you see something you like that is sold send me an email to see if I have something similar on the board. Each year I exhibit at several shows and I am also participating in a select few outdoor art festivals.
I am humbled that my work hangs in homes and businesses throughout the world and I have several collectors who are always waiting for the next piece to add to their collection. Thank you for viewing my work, I am always honoured when people take the time to compliment or buy my work. |
